At the beginning of the chapter, Conan and Camel are whispering, as Conan agreed that Camel would pretend to solve the case in front of everyone, so that Conan would narrate the conclusion in his voice, and the voice would come from the loudspeaker that Conan had attached to his hood.

Rum notices them whispering and stares at them sharply.

Conan leaves the apartment and hides at the entrance door and begins to narrate the conclusion. On page 9, Rum notices that the movement of Camel’s lips does not match his words and that Conan has disappeared. Rum runs towards the door, suspecting that Conan is the one who solves the case.

Rum opens the door and sees Conan and asks him with sharp looks, “What are you doing here?” Conan lies and pretends that he was watching the rows of ants on the ground.

Conan couldn’t continue telling the conclusion in front of Rum, but Camel was able to complete solving the case on his own.

After solving the case, Rum stares at Conan and says to himself, “He seems to be just a kid after all…”

Finally, Camel is about to go out and opens the entrance door, almost pushing Wakita through the door by mistake.
